Title: Renegade X Release Date!

For those who haven't been following, Renegade X is a fan remake of the original Command & Conquer: Renegade.
Ren. provided an online gameplay with RTS & FPS/TPS elements, which (sadly) few games have tried.

It's on Unreal Engine 3, It will be standalone, and it will be free on February 26, 2014.

Post by: Dragon on February 25, 2014, 08:18:35 pm: Eh, it turns out it doesn't have a singleplayer campaign like the original did... Therefore of no interest to me. Shame, it sounded fun, but I wanted a story to go with it. Looks like I'll have to get my hands on the original instead.
EDIT: Ha, looks like it does have SP afterall, and it's been released for some time, as a prelude of sorts to the multiplayer beta. :) When I have the "lots of HD space" in recommendations, I'll give it a shot (time to go HD sweeping again).

Post by: Zeether on March 11, 2014, 04:58:43 pm: I've been enjoying this, despite the crashing during map changes occasionally. I'd love it if they added units from Tiberian Sun though, I know they weren't in Renegade but it would be pretty cool.
