Hi,

I haven't been playing for a while. I downloaded the 3.6.14 RC1 exe file, the shaders and the updated launcher.

1. Although I set up the launcher for  1366x XXX resolution, when I run the game, it still goes to 640 x 480
2. When I then try to access anything in the mainhall, I get the following error:

Debug log.  run debug build then <fs2dir>\fs2_open.log (maybe under \data, i forget)

Guys,

Thanks for your help.

After downloading the latest release the problem with the game crashes disappeared.


I still have the problem though that, irrespective of what I specify in the launcher, the game is always launched at 640 X 480 resolution, instead of 1366 x 768 and all the enhancements I include in the launcher don't work. It does pick up the mod and the mediavps though. When I quit the game, and then open the launcher again, I lose all the settings again.

I am really at a loss on this one.

You may need to run the Launcher once with admin privileges in order to create the necessary registry entries.
