Dynasty Warriors Gundam Reborn.
This is a major step forward since DW:G 3. The gameplay is much faster-paced, the level design is back to the much superior 1 and 2 version, regenerating health is gone, pilots don't respawn (unless it's plot-dictated), and they actually made battleships relevant to the fight. They even added a non-UC official story mode (it's the Seed-verse, but still)! And finally... Playable. ****ing. Mobile Armors!
On the other hand, CPU Mobile Armors are a joke (I guess they had to rebalance them since they're playable now), the official story mode has the most bizarre pacing I've ever seen, and on the whole the game seems to lack challenge. Granted, I haven't worked my way up to the high-difficulty stages yet, but I remember the earlier titles being much harder. They dropped ZZ from the Official Story mode entirely, and rather than one big plotline that draws all the universes together like in 1 or 3, it has a bunch of unconnected mini-plots a la 2. That's a major disappointment.
So far it's a net positive. It is a Dynasty Warriors game, no question, but if you don't mind that style of gameplay, this is awesome.
