Re: Battlestar Galactica: Bad Squadron
I think Toasters already have that covered in spades, not to mention their models spines simply glow red when aroused rather then exploding.

It's not a bug; it's a feature! Cylon women can't fake it :P

As long as they're in certain positions and/or with mirrors nearby... missionary would negate both.  :p

I hear gold Cylons are fluent in over 6 million forms of communication, including Hungarian.
They also come with a "Virgin Alarm" that is programed to go off before you do.

Re: Battlestar Galactica: Bad Squadron
To finally get on the religious topic, I find three factors important in this topic.  First: The first guy had a legitimate beginning. After all, he is human.  How many times have you asked stupid questions, or have had mother and sister in laws who hate your guts because you exist and don't sound like them.   Second: everyone on this forum who rambled on negatively are like old angry wives.  It would be better to be stuck on your roof in the rain than to live in a house with a nagging wife.  Third: the very idea that God and religion is considered a plague to any such forum is honestly evidence that in our very human nature we are compelled to acknowledge that God or someone out there made us and everything else.  Atheism, after all, is a religion (and a dying one at that).  It's only human and reflective of our nature as being made in the image of God to battle with the fact that we are not almighty God's ourselves, traversing the universe, awaiting death without anything in the end.  Obviously, we weren't meant for that.  "Meant" being the key word :)   Oh my.  Eh?

What.

What in the nine hells does that have to do with the topic?

So, the Bad Squad has 4 guys in it.
A black guy, a redneck, a nerd, and normal you.
and the 4 of you have really cheap MK1.5 vipers, sent to do something stupid before the miniseries over the red line, where you capture a comic relief skinjob and run into some pirates and escort some ships, get into a dogfight

get into a dogfight get into a out-of-the-blue religious argument for no apparent reason.

Fixed.

A very interesting point you raise here, but it fails to address the key epistemic question: has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

A very interesting point indeed. So interesting in fact that it violates the HLP boredom act. Such behaviour should be punished by lock.
