RELEASE: Blue Planet: Chanticleer

Mod description:   The civil war between the GTVA and the United Earth Federation has ground on for two years. The GTVA is slowly, surely gaining the upper hand. As veteran GTVA pilot Lieutenant Commander Ned Mozingo of the 52nd Nomads, you and your squadmates will see the war through to its conclusion. The UEF, fighting for its very survival, will use every trick at its disposal to hang on. Congratulations on the release! It's always heartwarming to see fans embrace the world and create their own stories in them. Plan to try it out when I get some time.

SWEET!  More BP content, and not even the BP content I'd been anticipating!!  Win win!

Now I just have to figure out how to get recent builds to start working on my Linux install of Knossos again!  If it keeps giving me crap, I might actually break down and make a fresh install of Mint.  I think I'm quite a few years behind the most current version.

That first mission took me WAY too many tries.  Lots of fun and not easy as all.  The way I like it!

So when run directly, Chanticleer gives a "no executable found" error, but if I copy the files to the blue planet directory then select chanticleer as the campaign after running blue planet it works.

Weird.  How'd you install it?  Off Knossos?  Are you using FSO 23.0.0?

Re: RELEASE: Blue Planet: Chanticleer
well, working fine for me until i wanna start first mission, when i check weapon loadout ... there is just nothing, no gun, no missile, and no choices to add on my ship ... in other words, i cannot start mission 1 because the ship is not armed

I have the same problem. I use FSO 23.0.0. Impossible to launch the campaign.

OK.  Let me see what's wrong with this, because it obviously works fine for me.  Can you drop your debug file here?

Try using the 0.9.7 build I just uploaded. It should work now.

I'm sorry, but the new build doesn't works either for me. Where can I find the debug file ? I'm not very familiar with knossos and all.

Re: RELEASE: Blue Planet: Chanticleer
Upload the debug log (see image below), and then it'll give you a link to share the log.  Can you post that here?

Re: RELEASE: Blue Planet: Chanticleer
When I click on that, this message appears.

Re: RELEASE: Blue Planet: Chanticleer
Oh, okay, I see.  Run it in fast debug mode, let it crash, and then upload the debug log.
