Re: Building A New Computer (or just finding the right stuff)
Case:  Fractal Design Define R5 Gaming Case

Bruh, you're going to be in love with that case. I got that one for a recent upgrade, its big, but the cable organization is so worth it. The only thing to watch out is the smaller CPU power cable from the power supply was just barely long enough to go around the back for me.

Also does that motherboard support M.2? Looking at Gigabyte's page it appears to... I'd recommend upgrading from a SATA3 SSD to a M.2 SSD. The price difference might just be $20 or so, but you'll make up for it in speed. (SATA 3 is 6Gb/s, while M.2 can be up to 32Gb/s)

I love my Fractal Design (Define S w/window) -- I agree, great cases!  (Although, mine has the hard disks mounted behind the motherboard instead of in front, which I prefer - much neater & better airflow IMHO).  Give it a look if you think you might be interested in that idea.
I have the Define R5 and I also love it. Apart from the design decision of placing the power button on the top of the case instead of the front. Having a cat in the household forced me to do some trickery to ensure the computer turns on (or off) only when I want it to.

Should be able to set Windows Power Options to Power Button = no response.  Unless your cat's in a habit of holding it down...  I swear, they know what they're doing.

Pulled the trigger on the parts order.  Components should be trickling in over the course of the next few days.  Hopefully this all goes well.

Yep the Fractal Design case is pretty dope.  Was a little tough figuring out how to cram the CPU hydro radiator in though :P  Tried it in the roof at first but it blocked the DDR4 slots, couldn't fit it into the floor because of the power supply cables before finally removing the bays and attaching to the front.  Otherwise installing the rest went together pretty smoothly.  Booted it up to the Bios and everything looked pretty good, listening to the CPU cooler gurgling to itself was pretty funny.  Next week I will add the extra vent fans, clean up the cables, and install the OS.

Can I just say that water cooling a few hundred to few thousand dollars of electronics freaks me the hell out, especially when it's not the lowest thing in the case *shudder*
