are you sure?! i remember a mission, where they docked with containers this way.....as all ships have artificial gravitation, for the crew it does not matter

futhermore how they should dock with a container on a planet?!

Yea it looks better if they are not upside down, in FS they are all upsideup.

I resize the video in order to have a great view in 1280*640 I adds some filter to hide some annoying noise after resizing up the video.

as said.....i played a mission (cant remember the name) where the transports docked from ABOVE! a jump node directly in front of an arcadia-installation and you have to scan all transports because some are pirates and they want to steal some weapon-prototypes.....

furthermore.....if you want a docking from below.....then pls suggest how to make that on a planet.....thanks...

The freighter you saw docking from above would have been a poesidon (probably in an animation during a command briefing?) - the one with two grabbing arms extending down below it so it does indeed dock from above.

The chronos - the one you have pictured there docks from below. As for the planet part, well I don't really think the chronos would be capable of atmospheric travel at all because of how flimsy it looks in the middle. If it did, cargo would probably be loaded by crane or something - like semi trailers.

The three ships carrying the prometheus prototypes were definitely poesidons. The chronos, as far as I can remember was only ever used in training and to capture the taranis.

i canned the boning of bob.....i make only some far shots.....i´m a little bit disappointed in this matter as i had some great scene-ideas in my head, but it would take too long for completing this scene....

and btw: the vid is 2:30 now.....so at the beginning i have a different music.....the last frames are just rendering
