http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLs9bLM4r0RIIt0KHCBQ80k4DzvUVGAwqc
you need the time to watch 3 parts of this campaign
-
can someone highlight this its an highlight news and awesome
-
These two are either alts or relatives.
I don't know that Hard Light is the right place to advertise your videos.
-
I'm inclined to accommodate his request. WouterSmits is a decent fellow, and is an active community member. He has already earned a gold star; why not a highlight?
And yes, both handles belong to the same person, but we waive the duplicate account restriction in his case.
-
posting to mark thread for later video watching.
-
Wait, what the heck?
-
Can i has Gold star for long service?
-
No.

I've never seen anyone else playing RoR since I made it... I will watch this as soon as I get home
I esspecially wonder which final mission you chose...
I've got really fond memories of making this (from finding some old missions on a backup disk to finally get the final mission branch working*) and it's spin-off (Hellgate: Ikeya and The Light of Antares) and off toying with ideas how to expand into the Great-War era...
* Both final missions are still somewhat broken ;) - not that any player should notice but there are a lot of things I'd change in a remake of RoR

I thought so.
Wait, how do you get a gold star?

+1, want to know as well... They seem pretty rare, I've only seen 2 people with a gold star.

Or drunk service... :drevil:
Wait, how do you get a gold star?
Uh, "for conspicuous gallantry at the risk of your own life"?
-
Gold stars are awarded at the discretion of the HLP staff. They're something more tangible than a cookie for good behavior or clever trick. In woutersmits's case, he spotted a bug that nobody else had really noticed before, but upon examination was ridiculously obvious.
Gold stars aren't permanent, though. The membergroup is cleared every so often, otherwise you'd see gold stars filling up everywhere.

I'm pretty sure this speaks for anyone with a conscience reading this thread.

the implications of this are staggering. 'you most make update' is now the most successful troll thread ever.
-
you see a lot less monkeying when they can just suspend users.

Just curious: What was that bug? Was it the damage scaling one that caused the early .18 release?
-
Actually, 3.6.18 was named that way because it was easier than naming it 3.6.16.1 :D
And yes, the damage scaling bug was the primary reason for the extra release.
