It is. And without his permission. I think he started a thread about it.

Erm, I don't think that's the same thing. And this one is different to brand's version on quite a few points. I think you're confusing it with this http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=63734.0. Not the same thing.

The other thread is the one who stole my image, I reported it to eBay but they decided not to do anything about it.  The first image in this thread though is very different from my version.

You mean the second image, right?

The first one's got your name right on it.

Yeah, sorry I meant the first post as opposed to the later link to another thread on here =)

Uh, yeah, those are completely different. Just look at the gun mount above the cockpit.

Re: E-wing as a resin fighter kit !?
They're certainly NOT completely different. There are a good number of design elements shared between the two models, but they ARE different enough to argue that they were independently designed...

...I'll note that I'd be skeptical of that argument regardless. I'm going to try and compare the release date of this model (if I can find it) in relation to when Slayer's sketch was released as well as Brand's model.

*Edit:

Here's a page showing off their WIPs - If you scroll down, the date is June 28 2010...

The glaring similarities are glaring. Perhaps someone should send an email?...

*Edit #2:

Here's the source of the E-Wing model, actually: http://fmmodelco.com/

Re: E-wing as a resin fighter kit !?
So I did some digging, and this model is actually a resin kit that's made by a company called F&M Models.  Checking out their site it looks like we both used one piece of art as a basis for some features, though the resin kit was made before my E-wing was.

Re: E-wing as a resin fighter kit !?
My E-wing was first displayed in Febuary 2010 but to be honest, that resin E-Wing doesn't have much similarity with mine.  The hawk bill nose cone, side in takes, big overhead laser and drooping belly that set mine apart from the more common E-wing interpretations are not in evidence with this model.
