No problem Snail, thanks for your interest in the project.
Just to be absolutely clear, all prospective testers need to have the following...
1) Freespace Open complete with the retail files, the launcher, and FSO inf.exe version 3.6.12r.
See the FSO support forum
http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?board=151.0 if you are unsure about this.
3.6.12r is here
http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=70692.02) The release version of Blue Planet: War in Heaven complete with all the other necessary downloads that it requires (Specifics in thread).
http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=70745.03) A working registered pilot in Freespace Open multiplayer.
http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=63609.0 You need not do step #2(Unless you want to host games).
4) Download the multiplayer mission pack distributed via PM. Place it in your installed freespace2/blueplanet2/data/missions folder. If such a directory does not exist, create one and the program should find it.
You need these 4 things to participate in the test, and it is likely you will need at least these things to be able to play the released version of the multiplayer mission pack in the future. Please have these things when we test so we can jump right in.
