Unless you can find people who love cancer, then "X is cancer" is an exceedingly dumb way of saying that you don't like something.

Tohous is cancer.

While everyone is entitled to have an opinion of his/ hers own, i'd very much appreciate it if you would phrase your comments
in a less disturbing manner.
Thank you.

I also would like to ask everyone to keep it civil and ignore such comments.

Well, i expect people to to keep the discussion civil.
I also expect people to not start or engage in flaming other members for whatever reason.

I rather not have this locked/ split locked.

Disturbing?

What is so disturbing about someone hating something?
You see it every day all around the world.

So yes, I do think Touhou is one of the worst products humanity ever made.
And yes, my oppion of poeple usually lowers when I find out they love it - just like your oppinion of me is probaly lowered now that I made my disdain for it known.

People having extreeme differences in oppinion -  nothing new under the sun.

Nothing. It was the way you phrased your dislike.

See? Wasn't so difficult now, was it.

No. You don't like it - fine by me. I don't even know what it is - and i don't want to know.

True. It's all fine as long as long as people phrase their likes/ dislikes in a appropriate manner.
Especially in a moderated forum. Like for instance this one.
Any further discussion on this subject should be handled via PMs.

Anyway, back on topic.

Okay, all chumps take the chump-talk out of here.  I'll assume you know who you are.

Judging by the image and response I can only assume Spoon is trying to provoke me here?

Kinda pointless given that she's supposedly ignoring me (and I'm ignoring her). Should I unhide her posts?
I admitt, I'm curious to see what she thinks will get to me.
Tempting..... but no.

Yeah, anywhoo...in more on-topic related matters.
I really have truble putting characters on some kind of scale of "caring".
I either care enough or not at all, but at the end of the day I do keep an emotional and cognitive distance from games, movies and such, even when immersed.

I can recall some huge books that I gobbled up, reading non-stop, pausing only to eat or go to the bathroom. Same for some games. The ones you can't wait to see what will happen next.
The most immersive and fleshed out characters (or the most boring and irritating ones) tended to be in RGP's tough. Kinda makes sense.

Did you just call Spoon a female? I can't decide whether or not I'd prefer you be doing it out of ignorance or out of pettiness.

It's really great when people decide to ignore multiple mods telling them to quit the bull****.  I'll let someone else kick any asses that deserve it, because I'm goddamn tired.

Frankly, I can't be bothered with them any more, am thinking of hanging up my badge as a GM anyway, because these are the same people who complain that we're some kind of 'illuminati' when we don't do what they want, yet somehow we are oppressive when we do.

I find myself no longer giving a ****, I'm supposed to be moderating a Forum of intelligent adults, and it hasn't felt like that in a very long time.

I know the feeling.  Anyways I did toss out a few warnings, because the individuals involved should sure as hell know better by this point.
