Blackwater Operations's forum description states that it is "the elite of the elite when it comes to campaigns". Defend this assertion. Construct a well-reasoned argument and cite sources.

IceFire is behind Derelict, Warzone, Aftermath if I'm not mistaken.
Ace is behind Twilight and the similar.
Both were Volition Watch mods/admins (Ace was Alumini IIRC, for good reason).
Bobboau I doubt needs any introduction here, I'm sure you can pick any of the six thousand things he did and does for the SCP as to what he's "best" at, and Raven IIRC has HTLed some stuff that went into the media VP's. Even if not, his models are some of the best I've seen, and I've seen many.
I, together with another person (therefore just the two of us) won the European league in Squad Wars, and I was the better player of the two of us (as acknowledged by him many times, so this isn't me pissing in the wind). Gameplay wise, you don't get better than that, which makes me the perfect quality tester stretching from now... to say about... the edge of forever when we consider Freespace. Oh, and I also knew Xinny, the guy you went Into The Lion's Den with (so much so I know a nice secret related to him and Zero that nobody will ever know).
So, elite of the elite when it comes to story (Ice), elite when it comes to mission design (Ace), elite when it comes to gameplay (Me), elite when it comes to making mods, models, scripts, textures and generally everything else (Bobboau and Raven). Soon, I will get one or two more people to handle our website, one who have extensive experience in that field as well, so we'll be elite at that one as well.
Also, I don't need to mention that the fact it's the only legitimate sequel to Warzone, Twilight and Derelict - arguably the best campaigns worth playing for this game (conversions excluded).
I'd say the description is fairly accurate. Wouldn't you?

I feel a bit off the hook on the public view, because all you ever seen of my current skill (and then again, im better since then :P ) is the HTL Hecate.
However thats just because most of my models are personal experiences, and unfinished stuff that arent ready to be shown yet, and because I like to keep a low profile :D
Also, let me take this oportunity to say that, Ive been and are on projects with other modding veterans (Styxx, MT - Aldo, Lost Souls and some defunct projects - Venom\Nico, OTT). But, the management\organization and combined talent here is clearly the best Ive been on... no offense to the rest :D

Waaay back when BWO was first announced and that tagline was on the forums I sort of objected to it:
"Who says that the Derelict and Awakenings people are the best of the best? Grrrrr.... G'KAR!!!!!!" *threw spoo*

I never came up with the tagline BTW. Its just there. But yeah originally when we started off the whole staff had several successful campaigns worth.
Also worth mentioning Dynamo who was a part of the staff wrote a brilliant campaign for Descent: FreeSpace. Something that should be resurrected sometime.

Never played Twilight, but both Derelict and Warzone were getting more boring and stupid towards the end.

Never played Twilight, but both Derelict and Warzone were getting more boring and stupid towards the end.
I would expect no less from a person that willingly signed on to the Inferno project. Or should I say, "No more".

Come on guys, lets not turn this into a campaign war. It would be better to keep your opinions to yourselves and concentrate on your own projects. That way maybe both projects can be finshed in my lifetime. :)
