Is that a problem that the file is missing? Are you using Knossos?
-
I'm using FSO and I checked the FAQ and all the files it said to make sure are in the installed folder are indeed there.
-
I'm guessing you're using the FSO Installer. Which FAQ are you talking about (there are multiple around here)? Do you have a fs2_open_3_8_0...exe file in your FS2 directory? If you can find the installer's logs, they might be helpful as well.
-
According to ngld's FSOInstaller monitor, FSO 3.8.0 can't be downloaded because the links for RADIOBUTTON_GROUP and windows-3.8.0 are both dead.
The Installer's logs are in a logs folder in the same directory where the Installer jar file is.
Finally, if you're just getting FSO set up for the first time, I'd recommend using Knossos (https://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=94068.0) instead. It's a lot more foolproof to use.

Thank you all for the help.
Knossos did the trick.

It's great to hear that Knossos helped you. :) If you encounter any problems or have questions / feedback, feel free to join us on Discord (link is in the menu at the top) or post in the Knossos thread (https://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=94068.0).
@PIe: That's actually a problem with the mirror monitor. Goober apparently changed the format the installer uses for metadata. I haven't updated the script which is why it mistakenly adds those invalid download links. The actual link to the zip file is fine so I have no idea why the download would fail.

The file format hasn't changed, but RADIOBUTTON_GROUP is a new token.
