Certainly a great many original ones. Some light was shed on this matter in Stormkeeper's Four Modellers of Four Mods Interview.

I'm curious to know how different is the campaign to when you guys first started, ie has the storyline changed any etc. Also any chance of screenies?  :nervous:

Re: Things you want to know about BWO but were afraid to ask

BP has a high standard in all levels too, I feel.

I didn't mean any kind of offense, so apologies if it came through as one.

But aparently the differences have been settled, and people understood the issue, so its all good :)
Yeah, I know you were waiting for a very nice sig, in which I was quoting some very famous scientist or philosopher... guess what?!? I wont indulge you...

Why, you ask? What, do I look like a Shivan to you?!?

Honestly, on an asset level, BWO's standards probably are higher. BP is rather story-focused; we don't have any modelers.

BP is more release-focused. :p

Usually I'd post that this is a BWO thread and not a BP thread, but since your post was a joke at how BWO is never getting released, I can totally respect that.

I just wanted to take another post to compliment your models. The stuff Raven showed off in the interview was mind-blowing.

* Androgeos Exeunt checks the Interview thread and conveniently forgets to link this post to it. :p

Oh yes, those were great. His tip near the end of the interview probably sums up everything about BWO as well: don't release WIPs.

What happens when we reach 10 years of BWO being in development?

Have we already reached 10 years of BWO being in development?

Re: Things you want to know about BWO but were afraid to ask
Do you worry that after so long in development and so much anticipation, BWO will never be able to live up to the hype, or is my satisfaction guaranteed?

I'm pretty sure mine is too. My expectations for Inferno SCP are still as low as they were since the day I finished playing INFR1.

Re: Things you want to know about BWO but were afraid to ask
BWO will never be able to live up to the hype

You provide the answer within the question.

That is at least my opinion. For those that actually waited since the years of yore it can seem as if it's just been in development for that long because it's so awesome and massive, while in fact much of the case is that it's been in hibernation for long stretches of time. On the off chance it meets your hype level, well, more power to you, I guess you had reasonable expectations.

Personally, I'm just hoping that you will find the campaign to be worth your time, and that it will entertain you for the duration, and perhaps leave you wanting more.

I'm hoping to make a final push sometime in 2010 once I get everything re-organized. We'll see how that will pan out.
