No, they shouldn't. If we start giving out avatars to global mods, normal mods will come next, and then casual users.

No...Global Moderators are "almost admins". Normal moderators are closer to the membership, and are busy with their own projects.

To be honest, I'm happy without an Avatar, I'd rather think of myself as a 'normal user with moderating priveleges' than as an 'Almost Administrator', it sort of gives a little more leeway when dealing with problems :)

No one should have avatars. Admins should have gold badges, global mods silver ones, forum mods bronze ones.

I think that admins should have avatars, so that they are easily distinguishable, but mods and super-mods should not.

My new VP gave a good point when she introduced herself to the class: "I'm the new VP, I'm telling you this so that you don't think I'm a nobody and tell me to f***-off." This way people know that they are admins, and easily.
