Guys, regarding your problems . Not sure how you fixed your problem Zarax, but after looking in the 1280 file I see something. The same problem that I always have with coding :)

Number of buttons is 21

But the button counter starts from ZERO to 21, makes 22 buttons overall.

However, all files look like this, and mine (the 1920) never given me a button error....  :confused:

no go.  my resolution is set at 1600x1200 . but  i tried setting it to   1024 before starting

Weird.
All I can try suggesting is to try to rig all the other resolution files the same way as the 1024 one, hopefully one of them is what the game thinks it is.

OK this is what i did to get it working 1 got zip from zarax thank you 2 set desk top resolution to 1024 x 768
3 set  to xp service pack 3.
NOTE i had to start with compatibility set to run in 640x480 to see main menu then went into options and set it to 1024x768. exit game bring up compatibility in the short cut and uncheck 640x480 .


ps if someone can rite it up better then please do so

Can you "reproduce" that ? Just asking, because I sometimes notice that the game crashes in missions, which worked flawless before. Might be sort of a memory leak when playing for a while, and not really a problem in the mission itself. Also, try to play the same way .

Yup. Not every time, but largely yes. Every time I start Carver V it is the first mission I've played since starting the game.
