Having trouble installing
Ok - downloaded all the MV zips and extracted them.  Buit what is it exactly I put in my freespace install folder?

do I have a whole bunch of folders saying MV.... or do I take the individual extracted files and put them all in one folder called mediavps_3612?

This is what you want.  Here's what my setup looks like:

Contents of /ssd/fso/mediavps_3612, where /ssd/fso is my base Freespace2 install folder
Code: [Select]
FSU-MVP.bmp
mod.ini
MV_Advanced.vp
MV_AnimGlows.vp
MV_Assets.3612.vp
MV_Assets.vp
MV_Effects.3612.vp
MV_Effects.vp
MV_Music.vp
MV_RadarIcons.vp
MV_Root.3612.vp
MV_Root.vp
readme.txt

(yes, this is a Linux install, but it's the same idea on Windows, just different folder names)

Re: Having trouble installing
Thanks,

You are a gent.  All working now - looks great.

Possibly the post that gives instructions for this could be clarified a bit?  I am sure there will be other folk getting this from GOG like me who get a bit confused.

Cheers.
