Regardless, is this in ANY way related to the texture issue when I try to load the .cob and see nothing???
With out the group the mesh didn't load - which means nothing to see.

Kazan's bit about "subobjects without geometry are unequivocally DISALLOWED" was about a question I asked.

Bug from a .cob import.

Turret in detail1 (turret01b) will be found before the main turret.

Edit: With same model using scn (separate hierarchy ordered detail0 to 3), the order of subobjects in pcs 2
is 1, 2, 3, 0.
Also finding some pmf loads are locking up at Reading BSP cache. (Same model) - without detail1-3 seem fine.

not dead... just busy with start of term and start of belegarth - i hopefully will get some work done on this once i'm settled in.   Also hoping to get this job at the virtual reality applications center (VRAC) that pays sweetness for a student job (75%/hour of what i was making when i wasn't in school)

Sorry I've been kinda out of the loop.... burn out issues..
anywhoo....is July 10 07 the latest build?

Also, why do I have to fight the UI? Using Home and End on the Position and Normals, where you enter X:Y:Z sometimes works, other times it takes you to a different subsystem.   Sometimes the program will switch to a different subsystem when your trying to setup another one.  Also, same applies with copy and pasting... sometimes you have to hit ctrl+c a couple times in order for it to copy. Setting up values was faster with PCS1

Well when I save the ship after reskining it, how come it makes the file bigger?Also are you close to another release?

No I just rename the textures to something else then when I save over the other model its like 1 MB more.

you still haven't answered my question.  Was the model originally from a different POF compiler than PCS2?

Yes they were converted via PCS1 I think.I did this to the HTL models.

PCS2 model sizes will be different - they're much more details and correctly compiled, plus ships with shields will have the SLDC shield collision chunk which is brand new (so new FS2 Open doesn't support it yet)

Do we still need to use EngGlow to get other points like eyepoint, gun barrel points...etc? Or have additional points been added like GunPoint, MissilePoint etc?

Second, with the Convergance, are the values in meters?

uhh.... not enough time to read whole thread.  :p

before i start beggin my parents, exactly what s this one capable, and i noticed on the first page, someone mentioned not being able to see their model in the beta. i have the same problem in PCS1. and also about PCS, id that the program i texture in?

9plz forgive any typos, this computer's keyboad doesn't work to good
