Only the Valkyrie/Angel and the Ulysses need to be done now, and I'm not doing them :p

VERY VERY NICE!! how do you get that kinda glow on the ships, can't remember the name something lighting?

That's a HDRish pixel shader effect. Kind of makes the background planets white though the one I'm using, though they don't look as bad in screenshots.

Oh that Cheops is only a WIP at a moment. The Athena became a bit corrupted today and took longer than I thought it would so I'm taking a break from it.
Some of the fighters in the shots aren't HTL ships, they've just had a cockpit added. The list in my first post shows which ones are which.

Looking very sweet Woo. The Apollo does look class. Too bad I have an Nvidia. I shall never see the glory of HDRish. Although I have no idea what the means and there could be an equivalent.

Done. Well except the Ulysses, but I don't use it in the campaign so I'm not touching that one.

Will you consider making the canon craft (Angel, Valkyrie and Athena) available separately? Its nice to see FS1 fighters getting some love... :)

Well they can be easily extracted for use with the port, you just have to rename the POF files back to the FS1 names. Though I added LODs to the Angel, so its Port table entry will probably have to be changed.
The Angel isn't a canon craft really, it's a custom model though is based on the FS1 info.
There's no insigna data for any of those ships and if the port versions have any custom glowpoints they would need to be readded.
A full SCP standard download including the HTL modelpack is now 96.3mb (230mb uncompressed) without the missions and other campaign specific files.

Nice but what is the progress of Inferno R2 and why it haven't been release yet? Also if there is a chance to release R2 before and of summer?

There's no chance before Summer, the tables are several months out of date and need updating, plus when the new ani timings go in I have to review a lot of weapons to see if they need to be fixed, solo that'll take me months to do.

blah, but when you finish updating them, they will be again outdated because those guys from SCP will pump more new stuff that wil make your work outdated.

I'm slightly behind with my plans due to doing all the cockpitted fighters, and I've had no success in obtaining a final Shivan destroyer, but I can launch without it.
The campaign is about half playable, and there's 3 SP missions that just need testing. I may release the modpack with just the 3 SP missions so others can make missions/camapigns/mods for it too while I finnish the campaign. It depends on timing with 3.6.9 though.
It should be bugless on both 3.6.9 and INF Builds (for whatever version of the mod your using, which'll be the SCP standard for most of you) unless any more issues crop up before the final version of 3.6.9.
HTL pack will be avaliable on release day and will be added to if needed.

When are these HTL FS1 ships going to be available for d/l?

The only HTL ships I have from FS1 are the ones in the media vps. The rest are low poly fighters with cockpits.

Actually I won't be able to release this pack when the mod is ready. I need fixed versions of the HTL Orion and HTL Faustus first.
I tried to fixed the faustus myself but PCS refuses to recompile it.

I had a lot of side barrel turrets originally, but they didn't fit with what I needed, but the ship itself did :)
Those maps are my fenris style tile maps I use on the Alliance capships.

It's a modified version of Aldos 'cutter' cruiser.

Has anyone got a copy of the original, actually? I can't remember it atall (and lost the file), beyond that I was far fonder of the textures than, er, anyone else was.

I think I've downloaded that somewhere but I can't see anything called cutter. I've got some files from the old website like 'ep104.zip' and 'hi_res.zip'. Any idea if its in any of them? What's the pof called?

Can't remember. The ship itself was, IIRC, called a 'Pirahna' (it wasn't intended as a military vessel - instead being the largest possible civillian armed vessel, with a relience on lots of weak turrets), and I think it was GTCt as the designation.

On the Pirahna? Nah, they only ever envisaged as being as set fixed forward-firing guns, like on B5 ships.

I'm a real idiot, aren't I? I just checked those turrets and they don't actually have barrels. :rolleyes:
And those textures were undeniably ugly. :ick: Just kidding, they were actually pretty good. :)
