how come it won't work?? that time before i download the 1nd link which you gave me, i downloaded and installed the one on page 1 of this topic and it was downloaded sucessfully and the launcher worked and i saw the updated ones and i thought that was a problem and i go and uninstall it, yet that one on page 1, the video was not that smooth.....it stopped a half way but the audio was continuing perfectly but the video stopped for a while and then continued.......but at the mission where you kill the behemoth both the audio and video got stuck and my computer and the game got hanged.....so what do i do now??

2 question friends......is there a way to choose other ships like, GTVA Colossus, GVD Psamtik, Orion, Fenris, Triton.etc? [ in single player mode ] And is there a way to join the opposite side and choose ships of theirs like, SJ Sathanas, SC Rakshaksa and Seraphim?? [ in single player mode too ]

You can't fly the capships of either side unless you play a mod.

I believe that there are mods that allow you to play as Shivan fighters though. Not sure how many of them have missions though.

another problem here........help me out some one......i require updated tango1_fs2.vp and warble_fs2.vp ....... i copied and pasted that 2 from FS2 Colossus......helm, the FS2 SCP was downloaded fully but dunno what is the matter.......since i copied and pasted the 2 files from the FS2 Colossus to the FS2 SCP, the full version of Freespace 2 game went fine all the way until the last mission which is the destroy 12 escort figthers where Admiral Koth will come in.........after that i accepted the next mission but there were musics and every thing except for the voice......i tried  playing without the tango1_fs2.vp and warble_fs2.vp.......it was absolutely dull.......no music, no voice, no nothing.......i guess that those to files were not updated and i can't update it myself.........so if any of you guyz can get me the link for the 2 updated files, i would be much more thankful......hope you guyz understand my situation...........kindly help me ASAP.....stu_fs2.vp also....oh ya and guyz try giving me only stu_fs2.vp.......i suspect that one......the last  2 days ago i remember having the stu_fs2.vp size was 237 something......now the size is only 97something......only FS2 colossus has 97something.....i remember dragging the stu_fs2.vp from FS2 Colossus to FS2 SCP and somehow i got them mixed up and deleted the stu_fs2.vp 237 something.....i require that now i suppose........just try giving me that and i won't disturb you guyz again anymore.......sry for causing too much trouble...there is no error with the file.......if possible help me get the 3 links ASAP........tango1_fs2.vp , stu_fs2.vp and warble_fs2.vp

I did tell you that you'd need to get those files if you wanted to play FS2 on Colossus. You'll need all 3 Tangos, The high res interface files and everything else.

Running on Colossus is only a stop gap for the first 3rd of the campaign. After that, you're buggered.

Run Turey's installer and update your retail install.

can't i just get the 3 tango's links only?? instead of wasting time downloading the whole game for 3 days 2 nights??thats how i feel.......its not only 3 days 2 nite....more than that...in between the computer go restart itself.......thats y.......can't get file by file like the one in http://fsport.hard-light.net/website/ ? i suggest that would be very fast...no need to wait for days and nites......just 1hr 2hr if not 30mins.......
