Title: SideWinder Joystick found but wont work ingame?

Hi @ Forum,
first post here ^^

I just stumbled over The Babylon Project and Wing Commander Saga (demo)

both games have the same Problem for me :(

I wanted to use my old MS Sidewinder Precision Pro again, put it in the USB HUB and the Driver was found automaticly, Calibration still works fine (bad Deadzone but wayne...)
the Launcher on both Games finds the entry and let me choose it too. But ingame it does not react, and it won't let me reassign buttons in the config.

I also have a Xbox 360 Gamepad for Windows which was first connected, and worked fine ingame.
I connected the Sidewinder and they both were avaible in the Menue, but when i selected the Sidewinder the 360 Pad still worked, so i disconnected the Gamepad from the USB Hub but the Sidewinder still wont work.

Any ideas?

i guess BSG Beyond the red Line will do the same for me -.-

Hmm. Joysticks aren't my cup of tea, but a quick search revealed this (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,44234.0.html). Dunno if it helps, but you can always give it a shot.

ROFLMAO !!!

i just tried searching again and the dropdown showed me that i missed the e in SideWinder ...and it still found 4 postings  :lol:
... well thanx for searching again, problem solved !!! :D
