What kind of modifications are you making to the missions we have already played in the demo?
Title: Re: AG update!

Grammar changes and mission tweaks to make certain difficult parts easier.

So... nothing radical?

Not unless you have a good radical suggestion. :p

He wants to change the story development, it was already discussed on the release thread of this board, he along with some other members think that the upraising of the NTF was quite different to the way AG tells it.
I agree on some points with those arguments but it's just a point of view, doesn't have to be the only way to tell the story... that's why there are many campaigns around about the NTF.

Oh right. No, we're not changing our story, Mobe. We already have a story, thank you very much.

Back in the other thread I suggested, for example, to reduce the number of NTF pilots sortied against the player and his allies. Doing that wouldn't change the story, and would also make AG more believable under certain points of view. :)

You suggested a lot back on the other threads and we said we'd take it into consideration, which we have done. Maybe what makes it believable in your eyes makes it comical in someone else's. (Not that it would but I'm sure you get my point :) )

So, please, by all means, continue the suggestions. Just remember that in the end we're going to to what we want with it, which will include whatever amount of community input the team deems necessary.

Excellent idea.  Nothing is more difficult than reading through bad grammar.

May I suggest making mission 1-6's story line longer? I personally ADORE it, its like reading a really really good book :D

You mean putting more missions in between or continuing the story?
Title: Re: AG update!

Inbetween. The missions (and the story that came along with it) is very good, but it is too short in my opinion... perhaps a "flashback" of Alpha 1 could be used as future mission?

We have our missions pretty much set, but having an engaging storyline is an ongoing priority. We'll see what we can do about reinforcing the plot a little in the coming missions.

Finishing up final plot outlines and probably now is a good time to poke the FREDers to make sure they're ok.

Ohhh yeahh... well... Once you get around to playing whatever I cobbled together and called a mission, just dotpoint the things you didn't like and I'll get right on them (I was particularly mad FREDing and still am at the moment when I got around to FREDing the mission).

How's the campaign coming along now?  It's been a couple months, and I haven't heard anything about it.

I haven't seen Blue Lion around much, but apparently he still does come around pretty often, according to 'is profiel.

Edit - Looks liek he became one of the GenDisc'tards now.

To, you know - answer the good man's question, the development is, by definition moving along. There is now much more than the demo could ever have contained and I think it safe to say that the final project is due for release between now and the time FS3 comes out.

That help any?
