hello, I would need some help if anyone can .. this is the thurd time i have tried to put freespace together . I wanted to install all the media vp's and flashy effects .. but im unsure how or what files i need i tried a few times now and when i start freespace i get errors
And when i tied to play Blueplanet war in heaven it would give me never ending errors to click thrue ... when i played normal freespace it only gave me 9 errors and i clicked thrue them and played the game ... but this time i want it installed correctly ... i Have installed Freeespace and currently running the OPen sorce install thingy where it downloads and installs the files .. i choose "The works" _Absolutly evrything_
Now .. what Files do i need and how do i apply them , Please feel free to talk to my like im a moron .. couse at this point i am thanx for the help in advance :)

This (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=47640.0) tells you what to do. It contains a link to the MediaVPs release thread. That thread will, in great detail, tell you what to do in order to get the MediaVPs installed correctly.
This (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=56279.msg1180359#msg1180359) will give you instructions on how you can help us help you. You could try it before attempting to reinstall anything. That way we might be able to tell you exactly what you are missing.

If you post a debug log (as described in the second link JeffVader posted), we can tell you what you're missing.

Okay so i have evrything in as per the Open dl and extraxtion tool .... But when i lunch the "Luncher" it says "This program must be in the same location as your binary" then it opens .. but i have no acces to mods .. video or anything thats SCP How do i do a Debug? this is very fustraiting .. seems evry time i do this dam installation its always some wrong!

For starters, post a screenshot of your FreeSpace 2 directory, please.

Open the Launcher. Despite whatever it says, click through the warnings. Once the Launcher is open, click "Browse", then select "fs2_open_3_6_12r_INF.exe", click "Open", click "Apply".
You should now have successfully selected the sexy new FSO 3.6.12 as the build you will use when playing. Go back to the installation instructions and see what features to tick on etc.

Thanx guys its all working great now , Jeff's suggestion worked for me looks great .... Noticed there isnt as much love put into BP-War in heavan to the first one .. shame
