Another Problem With Intel Mac
Ok so this is an extension of the previous Intel problem (see two posts down)

I am using Freespace 2 Open-Xt0904

I am on a Macbook pro. Intel Core 2 Duo, and a GeForce 8600M GT graphics card.

The problem, whenever I start a game I automatically jump into subspace, thus ending the mission.

Any advice or fixed would be great.

EDIT: Only happens in multiplayer mode.

Re: Another Problem With Intel Mac
I can't think of anything that could cause this. Except silly things like remapping the jump out key to something like joystick up. BUt even that should affect singleplayer too.

What happens if you join a multiplayer game rather than hosting it? What happens if you run the debug build instead?
Karajorma's Freespace FAQ. It's almost like asking me yourself.

Running the debug did not change it.

I would love to try and join a game but, according to my computer, there are no servers.

Re: Another Problem With Intel Mac
I know that someone else has had this problem before, and I want to say that was with a PPC Mac, but I have yet to remember what the solution was or even where it was reported.  Hopefully I'll figure it out eventually though and can give you a definitive fix.

But you aren't alone with that problem, I just have to remember how we addressed it last time.
