Is there any way to get the FS2 FMVs to play in-game on the Linux port of FSOpen? I can view the video AVIs in mplayer and Xine without a problem, but the game itself seems to just skip over them. I know the original Icculus port of FS2 didn't support the movies, but does FSOpen still have this limitation, even with the re-encoded vids?

You can't get it to play the .avi versions. You need to get hold of the .ogg or .mve versions. You can get the former from Turey's online installer (you'll find it in the general FS forum - pick the movies and any campaigns you like the look of). The latter are on the FS2 disks.
