Go through your freespace folder. Look into every data\ folder you can find. If you see a tables\ folder, delete it.

No real complaints with it it's just that it gets jerky now and then during intensive missions.

Just remembered something, during the inferno fso build the cockpit hud disappears routinely....anything i can do about that?

Why are you using an Inferno build? You shouldn't need one except for TBP and Inferno.

Eh? Well, the key to re-enable the HUD is Shift-O...
And yeah, Inferno builds should only be used when the mod absolutely requires it. So far, that's only Inferno (although I believe the version that does require an Inferno build is unreleased so far) and TBP.
