Side thought, did you set the default graphics card on the fsopen executable, or on the launcher? I haven't had to deal with the issue myself, but its a thought.

No, for some bloody reason Windows refuses to run the Nvidia even when it says its default.  Instead it continues to run the Dell Integrated Graphics.  So every time I run the Launcher, I always do a right-click and select the Nvidia card.  I don't know if that is Windows or the Launcher, but it's just something to keep in mind.  I'll investigate more when I get an opportunity and get back to you.

My laptop won't run FSO on my Nvidia GT540M, it always borks it over to the Intel HD -- same boat as you.    You can tell the Nvidia Control Panel to have FSO use the Nv, but for w/e reason, it refuses.  Only with FSO and one or two other games.

I have a Nvidia/IntelHD combo on my laptop but forcing Nvidia on the control panel always worked for me...
