Title: Fsport mediavps - still uses old weapon textures

Avenger cannon, beams from the lucifer and probably other weapons still use the old textures. They appear to have been upgraded with the latest release but I'm not sure how to fix it. Any suggestions? :confused:

What.. the Lucifer should have actual beams... Can we get a debug log please?

I'm not seeing anything wrong jump out in the log... anyone else?

Would you be able to provide a screen of the weapon effects in question?

Hope its not too small. If you can see the Lucifer is firing low res beams, and I saw in the new release screen shots that it should have high res beams and shoot through the station. Also the prometheus looks low res, but since I've never seen any upgraded weapon textures I'm not sure if that weapon is correct. The same applies for the other terran ship weapons so far. No problems with ship models however.

Also the 3.6.12 mediavps work when I play regular missions and mods.

Actually, that looks correct to me. You aren't seeing the beam pierce effect because it didn't make it into 3.2, it will be in our next release though.

It may be hard to see, but the beams from the Lucifer are very low res. You sure that's right?

That is definitely not the SSL from FS1.. there's no mistaking that.

Oh okay. I was under the impression the beams from the Lucifer would match the beams from the 3.6.12 mediavps in fs2. I am really enjoying the latest version of the freespace port. You guys did a great job.

I'm glad you like it! Just you wait for our next release to coincide with our ST:R re-release. It will include the entire set of hi-res ANIs, new mainhalls, and if all goes well, some more refreshed cutscenes.
