In response to the other thread.

Mine are all Aldo ships, which kinda surprised me when I ran through them on the wiki, but every time I think of a cool ship, it's one of his. I guess I'm just a fanboy .

Anyway, aesthetically, I love both the Leto for it's old-school looks, and the Hestia For what I think is one of the best blends of Terran and Vasudan looks of any ship, Uly included. But my overall favourite is the Selkie for it's utterly mental afterburner and dead-centre gun placement, combined with SOC-style good looks.

Honorable mentions to the GVF Reshef for being one of the only properly good Vasudan fighters pre-HTL (And remaining in the top 5, or even 3 nowadays), and to the Seshat, for hitting the Zod look without actually looking immediately recognizable as following any of the established fighters aesthetics exactly.

So... anyone else?

GTF Atalanta for it's...well, ship design, six gun points, maneuverability.

UEF Uriel for the Archer.

WiH R1 UEB Durga for being able to mount twelve Gattlers in total.

CSA Aestival for it's Malachyye Missile Massacre, Phase Disruptors, Shard Cannon, insane maneuverability, speed and...ship design. Infinity Light Fighter for it's beam cannons!

Uhh...probably a couple of INFR ships, in the past. ASW's main fighter (Vishnan too, if it counts) was pretty decent as well.

UEF Kentauroi for starters, awesome fighter that gotten me killed in numerous situations when madly barreling down the targeting sights of a Diomedes while chasing a half-dead Perseus.

And the GTF Nyx, eats the Tevs for breakfast. Wonder how it would stack up against Gefs...

It's a toss up between the Atalanta and the Uriel, both in their WiH appearances, for me.

I also have  a soft spot for the Herc Mk III.

I loved the GTF Alves (also an Aldo model ) but my favourite now has to be the HEF Blizzard.

The Kentauroi and Uriel are pretty sweet (also because Slammer). Also the Scimitar/Leto because oldskool. The Nyx is cool, I guess, but too short afterburner time for my liking.

From Wings of Dawn I really like the Ray-III E (the fast one) because fast (but not useless like the Kaze). Also the Nordera fighters, because they're steampunk and carry cool sounding weapons (ker-chunk) and make big pretty splosions. I didn't really like the Prometheus Frame (but I liked both Infi and Dawn). The Prometheus Frame always seemed more like an armored car to me than an invincible super ship.

I've always been partial to the Hercules Mark III because it's sort of like an Ares-Erinyes-Herc2 hybrid.
