I'm slowly working my way down. After I figured out that the slime-creation thing doesn't reset (which kind of irks me), I Noblesse Oblige-d myself an aria of annoyance, since the slime hole doesn't give out any worthwhile statistics/adventure like Hobopolis does.

I'll pay for the next run (as it isn't expensive), and rather than go for slime items we could go for the turn-limited stuff.

I don't think chamois will stick around for the next run if it isn't balled up, and after +100 ML the slimes don't like to drop it.

Yeah. I noticed that. I think I still have a bail somewhere. Good idea on using annoyance though. I might have to try that one myself.

So I've become clan leader due to inactivity. 

I've bundled the chamoix (we have five bundles, now) and stored it in the stash.

I've reached The Mother Slime. And she/it hurts. A lot. With moderate slime protection, she/it one-shots me for a good 590 damage.    So unless I can find some more slime-protecting items, I can't kill her/it.

On another note: I think something big is going to go down soon. There are earthquakes and floating rocks everywhere.

Speculation on events

I can only think of three possible references for the current happenings around the kingdom: Tremors, Dragonball, and Magic Carpet. I'm really hoping for a Magic Carpet reference.

I saw my first earthquake at the oasis but didn't get any references from the text.. Not seen any floating rocks yet, whereabouts do they occur?

Well, you run into a new monster every 30 adventures or so. Said monster drops floating sand. The description reminds me of the scenes where rocks started floating, so....

The magic in the air is getting magicer, and the aftershocks are coming less frequently but more intensely. Still nothing to worry about.

I get 1 mysticality point per 100 adventures spent that way. Not a very good method for power-leveling. I'd actually rather have the '+5 adventure / day' item, than the bookshelf. :/
