As stated, they won't be able to support the latest FS Port with all the goodies running on 3.6.12 soon. I just verified myself that 3.6.14 RC2 is running fine on my Mac, and it is, with retail FS2. I've attached an example log below so you can see what a 3.6.14 RC2 log should look like when running retail FS2. Start there, and work your way towards getting a mod running. You still haven't deleted tangoA and tangoB as requested. Do that first.
