i would just like to point out the following things..this is a free country well it is where i am i dunno about you kazan....i dont want this topic to get owned but i would like to say the following things if i want to make something that is better than another application namely your installer then i can and you cannot stop me! If the program is worse than yours then people will use your application without a doubt and if mine is better than yours then people will likely use mine....you cannot have a monopoly on the scene and preventing other people from using other peoples programs..if no-one tried to better previous applications we would all be playing PONG or space invaders on windows 3.1 !! so in order to force people to improve there applications you need people to try and make applications that are better than ones previously made! So please kazan stop telling me not to step on your apps as people have said what they really think of your applications and if i needed to i could use quotes but i dont think it will need to go that far

And I don't think there's space for only one installer program for campaigns on this community. In fact, I think the more, the better. And if Avenger's program inspires Kazan to do something better, then even better for the community.

We are not here to 1-up each other. It's not a competition. Kazan's is ugly, but we know it works. Avengers is pretty, but we have yet to see if it works. Everyone's got their skills, and this site is for unifying those skills into an overall goal. So play nice...

A while back I asked Kazan to do a custom installer for some projects, after being given an answer to the effect of "I don't do programming for people, so pay me money, NOW" I looked for someone who could do an easy to do installer.

Avenger made some requests, but his utilities have a lot of promise.

Edit: In the end I did use the default installer he did for Twilight, but I was rather disappointed that he couldn't find time to even add a small image to customize it.

i use a more powerful package other than vb i use delphi more powerful than vb but less than c++ i have made a few apps for fs2 goto my website at www.avengershome.co.uk  and have a look

Avenger installer works fine, I tested it. And it's simple and easy to use. When I tried to unstall unholly alliance, it f***ed up. That's my two cents,

Click HERE This is the demo of the demo of tBE if you understand me....so this is an unfinished version of the tBE launcher it has the audio images all it does not do is launch freespace 2 and install the campaign. I heardby forwarn you that i do not take any responsablity that the program may cause to yours or anyones computer i say this not to detur you but i have not finished and fully tested it so it may either crash or freeze but hopefully i have made it well enough not to do that
