Title: Adding models to INFR1?
Post by: colecampbell666 on July 21, 2007, 02:26:57 pm
I'm making a mission for R1 and the mission is centered around a shipyard, and so requires docking rings. problem is, I don't like the Vasudan Cairo Extension ones. If I were to add in the Ganymede would I need to add any textures? How would I make the .tbm in the correct format? Thanks.

Just try copying and pasting the Ganymede into the INFR1 tables.

or use -shp.tbms. its alot less hassle than getting a vp extractor and finding a suitable spot in the tables.

Anything special needed for a .tbm? Or do I just copy the info and save it as >All Files>Ganymede.tbm

copy the tabke entry and save as ganymede-shp.tbm in (fs directory)/inferno/data/tables. put the ganymede maps in inferno/data/maps and the model in inferno/data/models. with just a table you'll have nothingness with a name.

Don't you need tags like $nocreate or somesuch?  IDK, I've never done it.  Look in the wiki.

+nocreate is only needed for modifying ships/weapons that are already there. unfortunatley for us helios bomb lovers, you cant remove flags with it. only add stuff/change other stuff.
