I don't get mad when people break into my places. I kind of expect it. I just get annoyed when they grief.

I have no plans to draw it out further. Knowing that he has no problems breaking things that aren't his is enough.

I wound up using that entrance into qaz's tower myself, though I had no idea who'd made it.  I certainly don't agree with breaking other people's stuff without their permission...but by the same token, I also really don't agree with the idea of completely locking down your structures to any visitors.  I mean, this is a public server, and I'd assume that we're all building on here as opposed to just sticking to SP so that other people can take a look at what we're doing.  I know I've been frustrated several times while traveling around the server by finding some cool structure that I wanted to examine more closely, only to find that all of its doors were locked down.  I can understand locking down certain parts of what you build, like a storehouse or bedroom or whatever, but it seems kind of anti-social to flat-out deny access to everyone.

Well if I put a block of TNT under a pressure plate, can't exactly call it unwanted.
And from the point of view of the explorer it would certainly make their visit more interesting/memorable.

Actually the thought of putting a bunch of random though interesting structures hidden around the world is appealing in that it would be cool for anyone exploring to stumble upon. Similarily putting some traps and other oddities around my places would make them a bit more interesting for anyone wandering round. though if I just put a cheap lava pit in, it would probably piss someone off.

Wasn't sure if creating traps that can harm other players was against the server rules or something. Though obviously trapping THEIR house would be inappropriate (see yogscave).

Ikr, poor kyad gets so butthurt whenever someone around him steps a toe out of his perfect ordered world

As long as we're jumping on tiny acts of public property damage/intrusion, let me compile a list:

- JC regularly explores buildings around spawn and such, bypassing their locked doors as well
- Hojo has expanded his underground pit into sara's tunnel entrance
- Mongoose broke a whopping 2 blocks to get down to the old blocked off mob grinder under fenris when it still existed
- Sandwich has made his skyrail dive into the ground *directly* in front of someone's tower, completely blocking their view, not to mention the other privacy issues with it (not that I really have a problem with it anymore, but I'm sure you do)
- Topaz has been demolishing parts of the plugin rail system that rhyx put down
- Rhyx has been blocking entrance to perfectly functional public rail stations that he didn't build
- Sandwich and 2 others who I forget griefed trashman's palace by placing a trap + insults in there
- Someone else (don't know who) put up another insult in giant glowstone letters next to his boat

I could add more but I'm sure that list has you foaming at the mouth already, so I'll leave you free to go jump on those people.
