That's really strange, your Play button is missing.
jg18 or Iss Mneur are the guys to speak to about that one. In the meanwhile though, just click the save then close button and then manually run fs2_open_Diaspora_R1.exe from your Diaspora folder.

It gets even weirder. I can find the play button by changing my desktop resolution, but clicking on it doesn't do anything.

Can we get this moved over into the Tech Support forum?

Done.

Manually running fs2_open_disapora_R1.exe makes the game run in windowed mode, even after I checked that the 'run in window' and 'run in fullscreen window' flags were NOT checked. I usually prefer to play these type of games fullscreen...
This game is just not working for me :shaking:

Check your Data\cmdline_fso.cfg using notepad
It should look like this -post_process -soft_particles -fxaa -cache_bitmaps -ship_choice_3d -weapon_choice_3d -warp_flash -snd_preload -window -ambient_factor 90 -spec_exp 0.7 -spec_tube 1.0 -spec_point 0.7 -spec_static 1.0 -ogl_spec 15 -bloom_intensity 20

Checked it using notepad++. Looks the same to me.

Alt + Enter Is quick fix :D

So is launching the game once from the launcher, apparently. Managed to find and click on the 'play' button on the launcher after changing my desktop resolution. When I subsequently launched the game from the .exe, it was fullscreen like it is supposed to be.

Ah, that's good. I was about to tell you to remove the "-window" bit. I forgot I ran it in a window to test Multiplayer earlier today!
