Starting and running a server in standalone mode.
Yeah, how do I do what the subject says?

Considering there are never any servers up when I get on.

The standalone server is still in the process of being fixed by the SCP.

To run it all you need is the -standalone command line but I wouldn't say you have a huge chance of having it work properly.

It's really annoying to see absolutely NO servers up.  I'm sure people would play if there were some.

What, getting standalone working?  It is a priority, as evident by the fact that the last two builds were released specifically to test standalone fixes.

All known standalone bugs should be fixed in the 7dot8 build.  Now we're just waiting for any new bugs that get found so that we can fix those too.
