We've teamed up with Rurikhan for one of his fantastic "let's play" videos and the end result is ... absorbing. Certainly puts my 10 years of flight experience to shame! Watch and enjoy.

Wow, The main menu looks awesome, just like the main menu from Freespace. Does this mean you guys are close to release? Me WANT NOW!

Looking good... aside from the text. Any chance of porting the font fix from 3.6.14?

Considering it is just one (!) chapter - not worth the trouble. Plus, if you are referring to the patch I think you are referring - we took a look and it had some underlying issues.

No idea what 'chapter' you're referring to, but I just meant that in the recent release candidates the briefing and message text doesn't have little lines around every character, and some known issue with fonts was listed as fixed in RC5. If that's not fixable due to having to rework some other parts of your code first, though, I understand completely.

chapter = "part" in BP lingo  from what i can make out, though from reading between the lingo WCS:DD will be more of a self contained story.

Khan's Darkest Dawn continues with another gameplay video from the first mission arc. These missions serve as a tutorial to introduce the player to different game mechanics, so the difficulty level is fairly low. Enjoy. ;)

couldn't tell for sure because of screen glare but i think he notched up 2-3 kills, he could have been a lot more aggressive and everything just seemed to make a beeline for the carrier or its escorts, other than nice demonstration of the TC (if you ignore FS/FSO AI tendency to ram everything in sight)
