Is it present in a cutscene, command briefing text, briefing text, or debriefing text?
Is it found elsewhere to these places?

Is it influenced every time the player destroys an enemy ship?

Is it influenced every time the player destroys a ship?
It... could be, in theory, but I think most mission designers would consider that impractical. 4 questions left.

Re: Twenty quuuuuuestions!!!
Is its appearance determined by conditionals used in SEXPs?
Well, since the appearance of debriefing stages is determined by such, it very well could be. 1 question left.

Since you guys seem to really be struggling with this, here's a hint here at the end:

Is it the red recommendation text in the debriefings?
This is the closest any question has gotten to the right answer.

Is It: Words/the English language? Or is this not a valid answer as It's not specific to Freespace?

I'm thinking about the code itself or the text in mission notepad files but it's just not adding up right in my mind with the answers we've been given and I don't want to pull the trigger and get it wrong when I'm not sure and someone else might figure it out. And it isn't player kill count or score or statistics because that changes with each enemy ship killed by the player.

Re: Twenty quuuuuuestions!!!
Himmm. . . Is It your CO's/briefing's Opinion of You/Alpha 1?
If you mean the opinion itself, I direct you back to "text-based". If you mean "as expressed in text form", I direct you to:
Is it present in a cutscene, command briefing text, briefing text, or debriefing text?
Is it found elsewhere to these places?
Yes. 6.
and
Does it appear in every mission?
Hmm... it is not required to be in every mission, but it appears in most, if not all. 8.
(I do not think most missions show their opinion of the player.)

Come on, you guys, you're not out of this yet.

Re: Twenty quuuuuuestions!!!
OK. I'm gonna think about what It's not.

It can't be "Press Alt-J to jump out" or the Traitor Debrief. because of Q7.

It can't be the help menu, because of "not interact-able with clicks"

It's not "plot eluding"

But you did say It was a reminder. . . huh.
