For X-wing Alliance...wow man...this does to XW:A what SCP does to FS2...incedible detail in some of these models (includes an option to have a 17.6 km SSD...which...is F(_)CKING HUGE!!) it also spruces up alot of the old models...man...the load times are a bit long...but...it's worth it...the Calamari cruisers...look like what they look like in the movies...man...high poly...REALLY...high poly...

Btw...that's ingame...cool huh? ;7

do you have the MC-40? MC-75? MC-80a/b/c MC-90 MC-109?

if not...take the time to play with the update pack...it's...awesome...the BoE...really feels like the BoE...except no HomeOne...well...there's a HomeOne model...but...I dunno...you have to fudge it to make it in the mission somehow...

Our recon team is stuck at HLP. Repairs are on the way and they are expected to be operational again tomorrow. After repairs have been made, we will send in a scout party to enfilade that website.

In a word: I will look into it today if some one does not smash me on the head so bad that I lose my memory.

Ships from EU and Classic Trilogy...
Many desriptions are based on "Essential guide to Vehicles and Vessels" by Bill Smith (1995), there are even some drawings from the book, as well as info about the ships first appearance...

If you haven't seen it yet, this site may be useful. It has more models than a bantha has fleas. They're all 3DS 4.0 format.

Yea, but a lot of books are written to explain some fanciful things about Star Wars. Most of it is just made up to sound pretty, and half the time, they contradict themselves in the same description. They usually don't know what they're talking about when they write something.

I posted a longer text on here (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,35415.msg745487.html#msg745487), but I'd like to say this here too:

If you don't already know about http://ia.emperorshammer.net/home, Id like to point this address now.

I'd also like to suggest that you two groups would start to cooperate on your discretion.

That is all. Further reasons for cooperation mentioned on the first link.

Hi All;

I'm from the TRA, a group that Herra Tohtori has already mentioned.  I am also apart of the Emperor's Hammer, which is the group currently trying to make this mod to FS2.  I think it would be a great idea to join forces with EH.  Personally, more people working on a project of this magnitude can make it incrediable.  The particular site that you want to visit within EH is the Science office.  The person heading the Science office, as well as the EH Imperial Alliance project is Ender mBind.  His bio can be found here
http://sco.emperorshammer.net/index640.html

If there is anyone to contact, that would be my best guess.  Hopefully, he'll be willing to cooperate with you guys, if you choose to do so.  If not, I look forward to your product and wish I could contribute more to the project then just adding my opinions.  Nevertheless, all us SW junkies are in your debt and thank you thus far for creating this project.

And if you ever want to play X-wing Vs Tie-Fighter or X-Wing Alliance...download the program called Errant Venture.  Which can be found here
http://ev.mindloop.ru/index.php

Meet some of us online and we'll get you setup.  It would be great to combine our groups as both FS2 and XvT and XWA are dying games.  Collaboration and cooperation is what we need to keep these flight sims alive

*steps off soap box*   ;)

Hello there

I'm another long time Star Wars fan and former user of the XWA Upgrade models. I've spent years playing the X Wing series but thought it lacked decent net code and was at times un-playable online. I've also had several conversations with Darksaber, the owner of Darksaber's X Wing station mainly during the time that some of his work was 'Borrowed' to produce Star Wars models for a Freelancer MOD, needless to say he was less than happy with this but only because no one took the time to ask or even talk to him. I'm still a great admirer of his work and perhaps someone from this project could email him, unless you already have, I'm sure he'd be only too pleased to hear from you.

My favorite Star Wars site - The Force Net (http://www.theforce.net).

starwars.wikia.com (http://starwars.wikia.com)

Wookiepedia, the largest star-wars wiki on the net (I use it to.)
Nice for everything, from campaigns via ships to weapons.

Home of TRA, TFA, and practically all that's left of the XvT online gaming community.  So dedicated to it, that they've even written their own launcher since the Zone pulled support for it a while back.  Figured it should be here somewhere for all who don't currently know about it.  I don't know a larger gathering of star wars game fans anywhere else.
