Background needs work though, the planets are recieving light from opposite sides ;)

Not everyone here has a l33t gaming PC. Most of us don't.

I bet it would look a lot better with anti-aliasing ... the texture tends to look weird from that angle.  And you forgot the turret angle animation code.

Wasn't there a discussion a little while back about how beams do not use crystals?

EDIT: here's another picture of the Leto, the texturing looks a bit better from this angle.
