I did increase the number of allied units and enemy units for a big guns blazing showdown.... is it too many??

The Error says: too many Sensors...

Oh wells guess being greedy has a price.... :)
Vanilla MC2 didnt have this issue though, I filled up some missions to max enemy units and could have a great time picking up the pieces :D

No that´s only what i think - magic will know.

Max number of sensors is 250 or 300, I think.
MC2 vanilla had much less.
And MCO mechs go up to 1000 polys, MC2 were up to some 200 (cant remember).

But editor will trigger warning when exceed 192 total units.
I never got that warning.
