Crashes when Hades uses beam cannon
Hey guys,
The game crashes when the Hades begins firing its beam cannons.

It first happened in the mission 'Secrets Reborn'.
I thought it was a once off glitch so I skipped the mission. Same thing happened when the Hades appeared in 'Blood of the Innocents'.

Any solution to this?
Thanks

Please post your fs2_open.log file.  Instructions on how to do this can be found in this post.

Re: Crashes when Hades uses beam cannon
When I ran the debug program, the game crashed when loading 'Secrets Reborn' from the mission simulator.
Log is attached.

Thanks for the help so far.

Re: Crashes when Hades uses beam cannon
Code: [Select]
WARNING: "For ship 'GTF Ulysses', detail level mismatch. Table has 4, POF has 3." at ship.cpp:8916
This is not an error; this is a non-fatal warning that can be bypassed by clicking on the "no" button in the window that pops up. To find out why the Hades is causing crashes, you need to make the debug build encounter that exact crash and (hopefully) log it.
