Right, I got a couple of q:s on Inferno SCP, which seems a bit... unorthodox

1. Will INFSCP unfold in a PARALELL UNIVERSE?
2. Will the ship, weapons, planets, systems, and so on be the same (cuz the idea of FSAR was kinda... weird)
3. Will some of the ships and weapons used (or un-used) in IR1 be cut out from INFSCP (like the Het-Ka  )?
4. Will INFSCP cover the first chapter of Inferno as well?
5. Which chapters will INFSCP contain?
6. How many new ships are planned?

Inferno SCP is completely different from Inferno Release 1 (Inferno Release 1 being the campaign which ended with the arrival of the SSJ Gigas, the 20km Shivan ship). But it's in the same universe as FreeSpace 2.

Same as FreeSpace 2 and FreeSpace 1, but different from Inferno Release 1.

3. Will some of the ships and weapons used (or un-used) in IR1 be cut out from INFSCP (like the Het-Ka  )?

Many ships have been removed from the modpack (notably the ones that sucked, like the GVCv Mandes) but many have also been retained (but heavily upgraded, with -shine and -glow maps).

4. Will INFSCP cover the first chapter of Inferno as well?

Yes, Inferno SCP Chapter 1 replaces Inferno Release 1 completely so the events of the EA-GTVA war are redone as well as the arrival of the Gigas.

5. Which chapters will INFSCP contain?

At the very least 3. Chapter 1 is the replacement for Inferno Release 1 and chronicles the EA-GTVA war as well as the reappearance of the Shivans. Chapter 2 and 3 (and a possible 4th Chapter) will be completely new.

6. How many new ships are planned?

More than 120.

The Notus is the largest bomber in the entire modpack.



The Latona is an Apollo-style fighter included in the next release of Inferno Alliance.

Most fighters and bombers nowadays have a cockpit modelled into them. You can see the bugger flying the ship through the glass now. Most of the ships have cockpits in them in Inferno SCP, however, some of the larger bombers (like the Big 5 bombers) are so big that if they got cockpits the pilots would be the size of a house.

Find your mod.ini, open it in notepad and find the line that says "secondrylist" or "secondrymod" (It should be misspelled there). Add in the name of the folder in which your mediavps are.

INFA, or Inferno Alliance, is the prologue to Inferno SCP. It chronicles what happened after Sol was cut off from the GTA after FS1. INFASA (Inferno Alliance Standalone) is the work-in progress revamp of Inferno Alliance. INFA2 is the sequel to Inferno Alliance Standalone.

Sorry, but that's impossible since INFSCP has not been released yet. Note that the Patch to make INFR1 work on FreeSpace Open is NOT INFSCP, that's just a patch.
