In-Game Visual Boost

Alright, so far I managed to get the shine effect on the ships to work, so now it looks like Wing Commander Saga, but I still haven't figured out how to get the transparent canopy on the ships. What changes that?

Nevermind about the canopy...I just figured it out, but the weapon and engine effects are normal, I have a wallpaper of a Perseus with the enhanced engine effect, and different weapon effects (The Subach HL-7 is blue instead of red). What changes these?

Weapon changes are made through Weapons.tbl
