I wouldn't worry about accents. By the 24th century most people (especially non-Earthers) will probably speak one unified language without many dialects or accents - galactic government means galactic language, and we've had a few hundred years for the accents to die off.

I'm glad that most lines are really just that - one line. I almost chewed my microphone out of frustration before I got the Captain Kristae de-briefing halfway right.

I'm a bit unsure about the correct pronounciation of Temeraire and Iwakura tough....

We're doing quite well. Tell is tentatively cast. Moreover, we're now putting voice acting in-game. Missions 1-10 (actually twelve missions) are almost completely finished.

T.T out of curiosity what are the male line's that are left..i would rather not use editing on my voice but im  willing to do what you need badly as best i can to help the project move to completion. (not gonna say that i would help much but hey worth trying right?)

Iwakura's still in casting. For now you're the best one we've got, but we really want to get a Japanese accent if we can.

We really appreciate the effort. It sounds like you may just be running into the technical limitations of your mic, however. Don't strain yourself - we can find others, never fear.

Ill make this mor esimple just cuz i soudn weird..basically i think mayeb what i hear when i replay on my comp is differant than what you hear..would you be able to let me hear what you do? plus mayeb its because i cant figure out how to upload to be playe donline..(usually i foudn it has to be paye dfor..and im broke to the bone....) just curious so i can see what needs the improvement to be honest i  think they soudned fine really noise was low and everything...so again im just wondering so i can improve

Sorry hmm...seems the wav played a bit podd after a day...i notice teh noise revomal modulate dmy voic e abit..make sit sound distrotre di see what you mean...hmmm i will tyr to work on that see what can be done

You need to select a 'silent' area - where you're not speaking, but the mic is still on, so noise is present - and hit 'get noise profile' first.

Load some of the FreeSpace 2 dialogue into Audacity and compare side-by-side with your lines.

I've had issues with the noise removal feature on Audacity myself, to the point where I decided to stop using it.  I figure the bit of extra background hiss is worth my voice sounding warm and human, instead of cold and slightly mechanized.  I've been meaning to fool around with the strength setting to see if I can't get the best of both worlds.

Ok got noise this tiem looked at line perfectly removed..hurt my voice but i got it just gonna send it..but any free uploading place so i dont have to email th efiel again and again? just teh first line so you can let me know the freespaceones are  abit similair in wave form too so should be good its just a test lien basically so you can let em know
