Twist of Fate nodemap:

That is the best FreeSpace system map I've ever seen.

Oh you still believe in fairy tales like Santa, the Easter Bunny, and free market competition principles?

Kinda hard to read though...

My preference is still this one, made by CP5670.

Re: A celebration of Freespace
Nice work on that map, Woolie Wool.

* FSF notes the node leading out of Gamma Draconis and wonders if there's Shivans behind

Derelict.
And I'm not sure why it does.

Re: A celebration of Freespace
Because Derelict's Shivan Knossos replaces the original Knossos maps only. It's not a new 'ship'.

Shouldn't the patch fix that?

In what way, really? The 30-node pileup in the northwest is a consequence of the node layout and can't really be helped.

Re: A celebration of Freespace
If you moved the little spheres around I bet it'd be easier to read. It's better to have no overlapping node connections when trying to read a nodemap.

Explain your positioning of Beta Cygni then. :p

There's nothing really wrong with Beta Cygni. The real mess is around Vasuda.

My point was that you have the lines crossing and there is no real good reason for it.

Re: A celebration of Freespace
What I like about CP5670's nodemap is that it's easy to read. There's lots of space and the information stands out. There's no clutter.
