Title: Concerning the Red Alert-fix.
Post by: Fjellsveis on December 23, 2008, 12:10:06 pm
The directory that the readme. file that comes with the fix in the release thread, I can't find it.
Anywhere.

The fix readme- goes as follows:

Mission workaround for those who encounter red-alert bugs. All red-alert missions are set to end normally, with all red-alert associated flags disabled.

Extract all mission files to /data/missions subdirectory of the mod directory.

Just where exactly are we talking? Mod directory? There is none. Not in the retail files, not in the Blue Planet directory. All the files are unaltered.
And I made a new thread, daring not to read any more of the other posts, because three other 'Help'-threads I read, half the ****ing game got spoiled for me right then and there.

If the directory does not exist in your mod folder you can create it, just make sure the folders are named exacly as they should and then place the files in the folders and that's it.

\blueplanet\data\missions\

(Create the directory.)
