I remember hearing about Kazaan thinking about making PCS2 before I joined the board, so 2 sounds about right.

it seems the converter multiplied my sobj positions. see pic.
note that this model converts perfectly under pcs1.

i seem to be getting the same effect on other models as well.

Same thing with the Loki SCN too - the cockpit was flung forwards in the same way about the same distance.

Looking good though. :)

that problem is solved in code now... right now i'm fretting over the long time it takes to calculate the smoothing data... it's... unacceptably long and it's do to having to repeat operations.... but there may be no easy way to avoid that

i sped it up a bit with some result caching... let's see if i can improve further

A Sketchup -->POF importer would be nice...

EDIT: Just tried it. It loads a .COB ok I guess (missing large chunks of the model), but the .SCN crashes it instantly.

got a model from someone via pm - textureless polygons and models make PCS2 cry :D - just fixed it... but generally it should be avoided because textureless polygons have poorly defined behavior

Zoom all is a bit different. 1m object vs 5km+. A lot of zooming even with a mouse wheel (unless it goes logarithmic)
