And I literally just rebeat it yesterday.

I installed the Inferno mod for old times sake and now the ship classes got corrupted.  Doesnt matter if I unload or load the MediaVP's, reinstall, whatever, same issue.  Now it's not even seeing the backed up save files...

Any help would be great, I'm itching to play "Love the Treason..." right now.

Inferno files should not corrupt your FS2 install, unless you have placed the VP's in the FS root folder.

Also, remember to change/create new pilots for the different campaigns (this includes FS2 main campaign of course).

Press Control+Shift+S in the single missions screen to unlock everything.

I think there is actually a bug in SCP, I didn't even get around to creating a different pilot for the Inferno campaign yet, let alone launch it.

Uh, you may be confusing the old Inferno mod with an Inferno build, which is an expanded version of the engine that's ironically mostly used by The Babylon Project, Wings of Dawn, and Blue Planet these days.

VMan, judging from his first post on this thread, looks like you're trying to play FS2 missions with INFR1 installed (there's no need to install a recent Inferno build for the sake of the good old times). It'd be nice to know what build of the SCP you're using, wheter or not you're using INFR1's patch... any info you can provide would be useful.

As already stated, I reinstalled the game, the log is gone.

Hopefully no one else has random player corruption like this...

I am using the latest version of SCP and the launcher, if that helps.

You will get pilot file corruption if you switch campaigns using the same pilot, I'm afraid.

New pilot code may handle it? I believe it's still in the works.

Campaigns were never switched, as stated before, it was random.  I installed Inferno prior to that, but I didn't even launch it, so it's probably unrelated.

It also had it's own separate directory.

This turned out being a blessing in disguise.  I finally have an excuse to beat the game in hard mode now.
