He's asking $1,000,000.00 yet the receipt he's displaying is only for $100?? and you can't quite make out whether it's for a PS3 or just a regular PS1? :lol: ;7

Freaking morons... use microsoft's business model!!
They not only have a better system, but they also have millions of units shipped already and a nice premium price... nextgen stuff months earlier!
I played a xbox360 at compusa... great shooter though i dont like console controllers... im stickin to PC!

Actually, XB360 saw huge delays. It was mainly the sub contracted manufacturers fault though. That might be the same problem here.

The PS3 problem is IIRc due to either (possible, unconfirmed) lower than expected chip yields for the Cell processor or (I think this is the more likely - or at least the more prominent rumour) that they are having problems producing enough blu-ray lasers. Another reason was, I think, down to delays in finalising (either the HDMI or Blu Ray) copy protection specifics.

From what i've heard, most if not all delays revolve around that insipid blu-ray player capability. Granted, if they hadn't had it in there it would be a significantly weakened machine compared to the 360, but given that it would also have been out already and with a much lower price-tag, it might have been worth the sacrafice.

If they dont ship BluRay, theyve lost the HDDVD v. BluRay already! HDDVD is already out... i saw a BluRay drive for $600!! Too freaking expensive! I'm sticking to DVD's... i gotta supermulti burner on my PC... works very well!

I've not seen the big deal about Blu-Ray. It's just another High-Def format, which I never saw a use for when HD was first introduced either. Sure, it's nice to have pretty pictures, but it isn't worth this ridiculous pricing.

I'm still holding out to see who wins the battle. I'm more than happy to sit on the fence and not invest in any format untill it becomes well established - otherwise I could end up with another equivilant of a zip drive sitting around. It was useful for a short amount of time, but cost a lot of money and wasn't worth it in the long run.

But with a computer you can do nearly... everything. surf the internet, IM people, play a huge VARIETY of offline and online games, program, watch pr0n, and most importantly, play FreeSpace 2 Open.
